ReachOut: Digging Into the New School Year

ReachOut: Digging Into the New School Year

This past weekend, members of Engineers without Borders volunteered for the first ReachOut event of the new school year which took place at White Clay Creek State Park. Most of the volunteers used shovels and rakes to dig out drainage culverts along the road at the Chamber’s House Nature Center while a few others helped maintain a nearby trail. The drainage culverts will help control water runoff around the Nature Center, and the cleared path will be used in the near future for some of the park’s educational programs. Thank you to all those that came out and lent a helping hand to our local state park!
