ReachOut: Demolition & K-12 Outreach (But not at the same time)
During the month of November, EWB-UD ReachOut had two exciting, yet very different, events. Our first event involved EWB-UD members demolishing a water tank at the farm on South Campus
ReachOut: Community CleanUp
This past Saturday morning, EWB-UD members participated alongside other local organizations in Newark’s annual Fall Community Cleanup. Volunteers picked up litter in their designated area and stored it in trash bags for the City of Newark to dispose of at a later time.
ReachOut: Walk to School
Yesterday, as the children of Downes Elementary held their 15th annual Walk to School Day, the Downes Safe Routes To School Committee was present to gather parent feedback on our work thus far, and participate in the festivities.
ReachOut: Downes Open House
As part of our ongoing outreach efforts to Downes Elementary School, EWB-UD RSO was present at the parent-teacher open house this Monday to discuss out outreach efforts.
